Finn Smith is a ceramic artist from Lawrence, Kansas, and is currently pursuing a BFA at the Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri. In 2025, they interned as a Glassblowing Assistant at Englewood Arts. Since 2022, their work has been exhibited at KCAI in several shows.

Previously having focused as a stoneware potter, their work explored themes of communal gathering and family through basket imagery. Recently their work has shifted to earthenware sculpture, they are drawing on inspiration from the horror genre and philosophies on humans vs. animals to develop a new body of work that maintains the concept of community through woven connections alongside the disconnect of body and mind.
